I'm Jessica Lanning and I help teens build self-confidence
and create a life that reflects their true potential.
Credentials and Expertise
I have a special interest in helping adolescents who are struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, and self-confidence. My work is guided by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which gives teens the tools to manage emotions, reduce harmful behaviors, and build healthier relationships.
Eating Disorder and DBT Support
Eating disorders and emotional struggles can feel overwhelming for both teens and parents. I help teens build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and take meaningful steps toward recovery. We’ll focus on replacing harmful patterns with healthier ways of managing stress, identity, and self-worth, while involving families in the process of change.
A Partner for Parents
I know how painful it can be to watch your teen suffer without knowing what will help. My role is to guide both you and your teen toward strategies that restore confidence, improve communication, and create momentum for healing. Parents don’t have to do this alone. I walk alongside families every step of the way.
Beyond the Therapy Room
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy cooking, baking, paint-by-numbers projects, and cheering on my favorite sports teams. I also love spending time with my friends, family, and bulldog and usually have a book (or two) on my nightstand.
Invest in Your Well-Being
As a graduate intern, Individual appointments are available at a rate of $30 per session in our Wayne locations, as well as online. Please note, as a graduate intern, I am supervised by Kaitlin Babyak, LPC.
If you’re ready to help your teen rebuild self-worth, gain confidence, and move forward in recovery, I’d be honored to support your family.
