Are you constantly worried
about your anxious teen?
Our SPACE Group is a highly-effective program for caregivers of teens who are anxious avoiders.
As a parent, when your teen’s anxiety and OCD symptoms get out of control, all you want to do is provide unwavering support.
It’s not easy to watch your kid being too hard on themselves, bottling up their emotions, not engaging in social situations, or even struggling to make it out the door to school.
The problem is, sometimes the ways that you’re trying to soothe your teen through these struggles only reinforce their negative patterns.
If you’re finding yourself . . .
Stuck in “what if? scenarios and constantly worrying about your teen’s well-being
Endlessly reassuring them that everything is okay
Emailing teachers to excuse them from homework
Helping your teen make excuses to avoid the things that make them anxious
Feeling guilty when you send them to school in case this time, they really are sick
Doing everything you can think of to relieve their anxiety, yet nothing seems to change
. . . Then it’s time to break this never-ending cycle.
With highly-effective parenting tools and social support, you can gain the confidence to respond to your teen to help them cope.
