Learn how to better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop practical ways to manage your emotions and navigate life’s challenges.
You’re Still Figuring Out Where You Belong.
You’re figuring out who you are, where you fit in, how you relate to other people, and how to navigate emotions that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
Maybe you're dealing with anxiety that makes everyday situations feel harder than they should. Maybe you're neurodivergent and trying to better understand yourself, your emotions, or the way you experience the world. Maybe you’re a creative person who experiences emotions deeply but struggles to find ways to manage them.
You might feel disconnected from your peers, struggle to find a sense of belonging, or feel like the people around you don't quite understand you.
You may have been through difficult experiences that have made it hard to figure out what comes next. You want things to change, but finding a path forward isn't always easy.
You keep running through the same questions in your mind…
“Why do I feel so different from everyone else?”
“Why is it so hard to manage my emotions?”
“Where do I fit in?”
“How do I move forward after everything I've been through?”
“How can I better understand myself?”
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone
Working together, you’ll learn to recognize your emotions, understand what influences them, and build practical ways to regulate them. We can also explore the role music plays in your life and how your connection to music can help you better understand yourself and navigate difficult emotions.
I have experience working in inpatient behavioral healthcare, where I've supported teens and adults struggling to find a path forward after experiencing life-threatening behaviors and other difficult experiences.
I have a passion for working with people who are looking for a sense of belonging, especially those who have felt rejected by their peers or struggled to find their place.
As a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), I bring a unique perspective to therapy by helping you explore how music connects to your emotions, experiences, and sense of self. Whether music is a major part of your life or simply something you turn to when you need comfort, it can be a meaningful tool for understanding yourself and supporting emotional regulation.
My approach is grounded in helping you build self-awareness, recognize your strengths, and find practical ways to navigate emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. My supervisor is Kelley Coady, LCSW.
When I'm not working with clients, you can usually find me acting in local theater, finishing sudoku puzzle books, or spending time with my orange cat, Lemon.
